Powered Up Boston–Video Game Industry Conference

The City of Boston and the BRA are about to convene a business development conference to support growth and sustainability of Boston area video game industry.  PoweredUpBoston is taking place on October 14th and 15th at the Renaissance Hotel in the new Innovation District on the South Boston Waterfront.  Will you invite your friends to register?  The main focus of the conference is to attract and retain business and talent and to raise Boston’s profile as a global leader in the independent game development arena. This is a great opportunity to network and represent the work that you do or create the basis for new projects.  There is an earlybird registration price now and special drawing to win an iPad.  Sponsorship opportunities are available.  Postings and new information will be added to the website often.  Join the facebook group for updates.

You don’t have to be a videogame developer or programmer:  you can be an illustrator, artist, writer, storyteller, write scores for video games, or do other great work  Do you work in film already?  You might want to explore the video game industry….

  1. Bunker Hill Community College offers an Associates Degree in Gaming/Computer Simulation. We are the only Community College to offer this field of study. How can we participate in this conference?
