Collaborative Boston Photography Project

In Calls to Artists on April 4, 2010 at 9:55 pm

The Neighborhood Project is a collaborative initiative of Boston Photography Center members to document the unique neighborhoods of the metropolitan Boston area: their people, their places, and their personalities that enrich our sense of community and give us our identity. We are using documentary photography to tell the stories of “who we are” in more than 15 metro neighborhoods.

The first exhibition of the Neighborhood Project, called “Boston Neighborhood Retrospective” will feature a reception on April 7th from 6 to 8 p.m. From 7 to 8 p.m., we will also host a discussion by the participants who will show additional photos and speak about the process of creating a documentary project.
