Sorry about short notice on this Feb 23rd deadline–Kathy Bitetti sent this to us ages ago and we are only now getting it out to you feminist filmmakers….hopefully you have the DVDs of your short films already copied and ready to send.

Bunker Hill Community College is seeking inspiring film/video/animation work of any genre for an evening of film screening, “Women’s Film Shorts.”  The work (maximum of 15 minutes) should explore women’s issues.  Preferably women have a primary role in the production.  The screening will take place at the Bunker Hill Community College on Thursday, March 18, 2010 @6:30pm, and will be followed by a panel discussion.

“Women’s Film Shorts,” screening event is in celebration of International Women’s Day, and is part of the “International Women’s’ History Month 2010” exhibit at the BHCC gallery, March 8 through April 10.

The submission should include:

  • Film title, category, and running time.
  • Short bio of the artist/s.
  • Artist/s contact information (name, address, phone, email).
  • Short synopsis of submitted film (100 word or less).
