Monthly Artists Roundtable Conversations sponsored by ARTMorpheus in partnership with the Boston Center for the Arts begin Monday, December 7th at the Cyclorama.

Networking, sharing resources, and the experience of being working artists
Monday, Dec. 7th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm

For artists working in all media (including photography, visual arts, literary arts, film, dance, music, theater, other performing arts, etc)

The kickoff to a monthly series, this December gathering will be a relaxed pot-luck supper, to discuss and share the resources that would most help you and your fellow artists thrive. This casual gathering will set the stage for monthly artists’ roundtables to begin in early 2010.

As a springboard for this discussion, artists may want read pages 21-29 of the MA Artists Report – the result of a recent statewide survey of artists conducted by the Artists Foundation that provides new insights into artists’ sources of income, their work practices, and the bureaucratic obstacles many face in gaining access to services. Kelly Bennett, Artist, Exhibitions Curator and Program Coordinator for the Artists Fellowships program at the Mass Cultural Council will be this month’s guest.

Feel free to bring a food item of your choice. Paper goods and soft drinks will be provided.
